I have been feeling under the weather recently (by under the weather I mean coughing my guts up constantly, in bed with an achey body and a general feeling of floatyness.) I have slacked off of any exercise and actually feel really guilty about it.
Today, however, I woke up early and told myself today is the day to get back out there and go for a fresh morning walk. I would feel just as shit laying in bed as I would outside in the beautiful countryside. So I did.
I wasn’t fast, I didn’t do my 12 miles but I did manage a 7mile average pace walk around my favourite place…Bradgate Park. (My pockets filled to the brim with tissues.)
I mayneed to go back to bed and sleep for a day or two but I have no regrets.
