So January is fastly approaching, the month of new beginnings and doomed resolutions. However, if you fancy taking up running in the New Year then I’ve been told of something that may just keep you on track! It’s called ‘Jantastic’ and basically you make targets for the end of the week. Let’s say, 4 2 mile runs in the first week. If you complete this, you gain points. The more points you gain, the more likely you are to win prizes. Even if you don’t win anything, you will still be hitting your targets and gradually be finding things easier. Believe me, before I started, I couldn’t walk 3 miles let alone run it and even more!
